471. To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the amount of funding that was allocated to the Camogie Association, LGFA and the GAA in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and to date in 2025; the number of players currently registered in all codes, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In relation to the first part of your question on funding, Sport Ireland, which is funded by my Department, is the statutory body with responsibility for the development of sport, increasing participation at all levels and raising standards.

I have referred this part of the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for direct reply in relation to the figures sought by the Deputy. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within 10 days.

In relation to the second part of the Deputy's question, registration of players and the keeping of statistics on the same are a matter for the National Governing Bodies of sport who are autonomous.
