To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality for a detailed summary of moneys paid to the owners of a hotel (details supplied), in each year and to date in 2025, as it relates to contracts entered into for those fleeing the war in Ukraine and those seeking international protection. Dundrum House has been used to accommodate people fleeing the war in Ukraine since 2022, and international protection applicants since 2024.
Details of payments, contractual arrangements or per night prices in relation to specific accommodation centres are not routinely provided by the Department. This is because such details are considered commercially sensitive and publishing them would damage our ability to achieve best value for public funds in managing or negotiating ongoing and new contracts.
However, details of payments over €20,000 to suppliers of the Department generally, including accommodation providers, are available online at gov.ie, published on quarterly basis, at:
