Ireland’s Mission network in Europe plays an important role in supporting our citizens abroad, enhancing our bilateral cooperation with European partners and in shaping the EU agenda. Under the Global Ireland strategy, Ireland has deepened and widened its impact across Europe by strengthening and leveraging our mission network, deepening both new and existing alliances. Through specific targeted strategies, including for France, Germany and the Nordic Baltic region, as well as through increased focused and prioritisation goals, our European missions have been critical to the success of the Government’s Global Ireland strategy.
