To ask the Minister for Health the number of procedures for idiopathic scoliosis on public patients in a private hospital (details supplied) that have been conducted in each of the past three years; the average patient length of stay of these operations; to outline the funding arrangements for the surgical team; and whether this public private treatment programme has been reviewed in the midst of the recent revelations surrounding the National Treatment Purchase Fund.
