The organisation referred to by the Deputy was provisionally allocated grant funding of €245,204 in 2024, under the 2023 round of the Community Sport Facilities Fund. My Department has been in contact with the organisation and it will be in a position to confirm formal approval of the grant, when the organisation uploads the required documentation requested.

The club referred to by the Deputy were provisionally allocated grant funding of €405,026 in 2024 under the 2023 round of the Community Sport Facilities Fund. My Department has been in contact with the club on the steps required to progress to formal approval and the club expects to upload the necessary documentation by mid July at which point the Department will be in a position to confirm formal approval of the grant.
