An Post is a commercial State body with a mandate to act commercially. Matters relating to staffing in An Post are a direct operational matter for the company and I, as Minister, have no function.

However I would advise the Deputy that the Annual Reports of An Post contain details of the staffing levels in the company. The Annual Reports are available online at An Post website and have been laid in the library of the Houses of the Oireachtas. An Post has a dedicated email address for any queries arising from Members of the Oireachtas at oireachtasenquiries@anpost.ie, and information can be sought directly from An Post.
