There are a number of proposed capital developments at Beaumont Hospital, including a new Emergency Department (ED), a 95-bed Ward Block, a 64-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) Block, and an extension to the Radiation Oncology Department.

The process for these proposals is being managed through the HSE capital development process rather than requiring direct submission to the Department of Health or Government for consent. This is in line with the provisions of the Department of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery, and Reform’s updated Infrastructure Guidelines.
