To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government for a full list of all documents, reports, strategies, and resources that have been “unpublished” by his Department over the past ten years (details supplied), including all such materials that have been “unpublished” by divisions, sections and units of his Department that became part of the Minister’s Department following a transfer of functions; and who “unpublished” the materials under a different Minister or Department. My Department is committed to the open publication of all government information, which is central to trust, transparency and public engagement. My Department ensures that all relevant documents, reports, strategies and resources are made available to the public on our Departmental website on gov.ie, and has not engaged in “unpublishing” any documents, notwithstanding temporary actions that may be required to address technical or accessibility issues.

The Gov.ie website underwent a major content management system upgrade in mid-April 2025. Following the system upgrade, due to a technical issue, links on some pages were broken and automatically replaced with the text: “Item has been unpublished or removed”. In fact, those items were not unpublished and remained available on the website. My Department is actively working with the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer to ensure all links are restored and working correctly.

This broken link has now been fixed.
