968. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht for a full list of all documents, reports, strategies, and resources that have been “unpublished” by his Department over the past ten years (details supplied), including all such materials that have been “unpublished” by divisions, sections and units of his Department that became part of the Minister’s Department following a transfer of functions; and who “unpublished” the materials under a different Minister or Department. My Department’s website is part of the gov.ie platform, hosted by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO). It is my understanding that the gov.ie platform underwent a major system upgrade in mid-April 2025. I am informed that following this systems upgrade, due to a technical issue, the links on some pages were broken and automatically replaced with the text: “Item has been unpublished or removed”. I am also informed that, despite this text, the documents in question remained available on the website.
I can assure the Deputy that my Department has not actively ‘unpublished’ any relevant documents, reports, strategies, and resources since its establishment in 2017, notwithstanding any temporary technical matter that would impact on website access, which is resolved as soon as possible. My Department regularly reviews our content to ensure all links are working correctly.
