On the week of 2 June 2025, accompanied by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs, I led a trade mission to Los AngeLes to meet with Ireland’s creative partners across film, television, animation and gaming. I attended meetings with senior and creative executives of studios, production companies and the gaming sector in order to strengthen relationships that support the development of a strong creative base in Ireland for storytelling, development and production across digital games. The person referred to by the Deputy was not among those I met.
