To ask the Minister for Health the number of reports of alleged abuse, neglect, exploitation or other mistreatment of vulnerable adults that were made to HIQA in 2022, 2023, 2024 and to date in 2025; the number of these reports that HIQA shared with adult safeguarding services or the Gardaí or both; and to provide a breakdown of the vulnerable adult cohorts among alleged victims, for instance, older adults, adults with an intellectual disability, and adults with acquired brain injury.
