Since taking up office, I have not yet had the opportunity to meet with the National Ambulance Service (NAS). However, I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the vital role the NAS plays in the delivery of urgent and emergency care right across the country. I look forward to engaging directly with the National Ambulance Service in the near future to discuss their work, and how we can continue to support and strengthen pre-hospital emergency care for patients.
