The current Chairperson of the Board of the National Concert Hall, Ms Maura McGrath, was appointed to a second five-year term with effect from 24 June 2021, as provided for in section 9.1.5 of the Guidelines for Appointments to State Boards.

My Department is currently liaising with Publicjobs (the Public Appointments Service) with the intention of advertising a competition to fill current and anticipated future vacancies on the Board of the National Concert Hall. This will include a number of ordinary Board member vacancies, and the role of the Chairperson when that becomes vacant.
