The funding for the IEN has been increased year on year since 2020, to facilitate the important work of their membership organisations on a broad range of environmental issues, including wildlife conservation, biodiversity, and climate change. These increases in funding have been approved in light of the need to expand this work, as well as to offset the increased operating and administration costs of member activities.
The below table illustrates the total amount provided in funding to the IEN over the specified time period:
2020 | €1,606,000 |
---|---|
2021 | €1,764,000 |
2022 | €2,100,000 |
2023 | €2,550,000 |
2024 | €3,127,000 |
2025 | €3,127,000 |
Funding for the IEN is provided via the Circular Economy Fund.
