The current and capital funding allocation for Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland from the establishment of the agency on the 1st of August 2024 to year end, and for 2025, is set out in the table below. These figures include the provision of supplementary funds of just over €1m towards the amalgamation process which established the new organisation.

The capital funding allocation for Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland over the next five years will be determined as part of the ongoing National Development Plan (NDP) review process. The annual estimates process undertaken by the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform will determine the allocation of current expenditure allocated to the agency on a year by year basis. It would not be appropriate for me to pre-empt decisions on voted allocations.

Non-Pay €5,308,000 €9,155,000
