In line with a Programme for Government commitment and with effect from 5 June 2025, the title of my Department was officially changed to the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, An Roinn Dlí agus Cirt, Gnóthaí Baile agus Imirce.

In advance of this title change my Department ran mini tenders, following public procurement guidelines, to facilitate the replacement of external and internal signage across the Department's estate and for the design and supply of business cards.

The cost to remove, replace and update signage will be approximately €5,000 excluding VAT. This project is underway and is expected to be complete across the estate by the end of July.

The supply of new business cards, over the course of the next two years, up to 150 sets of 250 cards, will be provided at a cost in the region of €2,250 excluding VAT. New business cards are requested as business needs arise.

In line with our Climate Action Roadmap and Green Policy initiatives, the Department plans on exhausting the stock of existing lanyards and staff access cards currently in place and will replace them as new requests are received. No new headed stationary has been ordered to date and uniforms do not display the Department name or logo.

All Department’s signage, logo and stationery will be presented in both Irish and English in line with the Official Languages Acts requirements.

Much of the updates to our digital real estate are being performed in-house and at no additional cost other than staff hours. The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) is responsible for the maintenance of my Department's website on gov.ie. Digital assets have been provided by the Government Information Service (GIS) at no cost to my Department.
