I am informed by publicjobs, the centralised provider of recruitment and selection services in the civil and public service and a body under the aegis of my Department, that the latest open Executive Officer campaign was launched in June 2024.

According to publicjobs, 812 applicants have been panelled to date for multiple locations, with 482 having been assigned already. A further 106 are either currently allocated to a vacancy or going though clearance.

Finally, there are currently 6,825 candidates available to invite forward for interview when required.

It is worth noting that these numbers reflect the situation as it stood on 29 May 2025, but they update on a daily basis.

The panel is scheduled to expire on the 28 June 2025; however, the possibility to extend its life is being considered by my officials.
