To ask the Minister for Health if she will consider implementing a streamlined outpatient follow-up system for patients with stable chronic conditions such as leukaemia in remission, whereby consultants can review routine blood test results remotely and communicate outcomes via phone or post, in order to reduce unnecessary hospital visits, alleviate car parking pressures, and shorten outpatient waiting lists; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
