The Deputy has clarified his request with the following:

To clarify, I meant a review of their work, reporting arrangements and supervision of consultants. In light of the issues at CHI, there are serious questions about the system of clinical directors and whether it is working.

As this is an operation matter, I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy.
