To ask the Minister for Health her plans for the external independent panel of surgeons with expertise in developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) surgery, following publication of the DDH Audit by Children’s Health Ireland and the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Cappagh; if this panel will be made up of surgeons from different jurisdictions; the timeline being worked towards in establishing this panel and reviewing all cases; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
