I have requested the information sought by the Deputy from the Garda Síochána. Regrettably, this was not available in time and I will write to the Deputy once the information is to hand.

I understand that Parliamentary Question No. 121 of 30 April 2025 sought the amount spent by An Garda Síochána on purchasing new Garda CCTV cameras in 2023, 2024 and to date in 2025, in tabular form.

Garda authorities have advised that they have not carried out any new CCTV camera installations in the years concerned. I am further advised however, that Garda ICT provides routine and regular maintenance and replacement works, as required, for the existing camera installations across the country.
