690. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the consideration she has given to funding for youth services, newly moved into her Department, in Budget 2026; if she is aware of the National Youth Council of Ireland pre-Budget 2026 submission seeking a €21.3 million increase in funding; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have received the Pre-Budget Submission for Budget 2026 from the National Youth Council of Ireland, and its contents have been noted.

Budget 2026 will be considered by Government in the context of the annual estimates process. As this is ongoing, the Deputy will appreciate that it would not be appropriate for me to comment further at this stage.

However, I would like to note that we hope to build on the progress made in Budget 2025, ensuring continued support for key priorities and developments.
