308. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform for an update on a new Garda station in Tubbercurry, County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28428/25]

The Office of Public Works (OPW) can confirm that refurbishment works are planned to a State owned building to accommodate a new Garda Station in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo.

The works will consist of a deep retrofit to include a fabric / energy upgrade, new windows, solar water heating, PV panel installation and a fire escape.

A Part IX Planning submission, together with Fire Certification and Disability Access applications are currently being prepared. Subject to these Statutory Submissions being granted, the project will progress to tender preparation.
