I propose to take Questions Nos. 277, 278 and 280 together.

The Energy Efficiency Retrofit Programme (EERP) aims to retrofit a local authority home to a BER of B2. It is expected that 36,500 local authority owned homes will be retrofitted under this programme out to 2030.

An annualised breakdown of the total funding provided and the number of properties upgraded, including those homes retrofitted by Dublin City Council, under the Energy Efficiency Retrofit programme for the years 2013-2024 is available on my Department's website at the following link:

www.gov.ie/en/publication/668c1-energy-efficiency-retrofitting-programme-expenditure-output/.

My Department also introduced a pilot Midlands Energy Retrofit Programme in 2020, the details of which can be found on the link below.

www.gov.ie/en/publication/b86b3-midlands-energy-retrofit-programme-expenditure-and-units/.

The 2025 EERP budget provides funding support of €90 million to retrofit a minimum of 2,500 properties this year. Local authorities have received their individual allocations and work is underway in that regard.

Each year the target number of units and funding provided under the EERP is subject to the funding availability as part of the National Development Plan and annual Estimates process. However, the table below provides indicative figures on targets per year between 2026 and 2030 to ensure a minimum of 36,500 local authority owned homes are retrofitted over the lifetime of the Programme.

Year 2026 2027 2028 2029 2030
Retrofit Targets 3,750 4,500 5,000 6,000 6,350
