The Casino Marino is a National Monument in the care of the Office of Public Works (The OPW).

The existing cabin structure was installation in 2019 to provide staff and visitor facilities. Those works were carried out with the consent of the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage granted under ministerial consent reference C000666.

The current works being undertaken by the OPW involve the refurbishment and upgrading of these existing facilities. There is no material change to these facilities and therefore ministerial consent was not required for these works.

These works have been designed and directed by a Grade 1 conservation architect.

The costs of work to date are €44,485.06 excluding VAT.
