To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the annual budget his Department allocated to organisations that save lives, for example, the Irish Coast Guard and the Naval Service and search and rescue services, in each of the past five years, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Minister of State for International & Road Transport, Logistics, Rail & Ports Seán Canney T.D, has responsibility for the Irish Coast Guard and the SAR Aviation Contract. The Naval services however does not fall under the Department’s remit.
