I propose to take Questions Nos. 408, 409, 410, 411 and 412 together.
An Bord Pleanála (the Board/ABP) was established as a non-commercial state body in 1977 under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1976 and is responsible for the determination of appeals and certain other matters under the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, and associated legislation, and determination of applications for Strategic Infrastructure Development including major road and railway cases.
The information requested is not held by my Department. Arrangements have been put in place by all bodies under the aegis of my Department to facilitate the provision of information directly to members of the Oireachtas. This provides a speedy, efficient and cost effective system to address queries directly to the relevant bodies.
