654. To ask the Minister for Health the bodies that operate under the aegis of her Departments; those bodies which her Department funds on an annual recurring basis; those similarly funded by the HSE; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26927/25]

The following bodies operate under the aegis of the Department of Health: Dental Council, Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Health and Social Care Professionals Council (CORU), Health Information and Quality Authority, Health Insurance Authority, Health Products Regulatory Authority, Health Research Board, Health Service Executive (HSE), Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Medical Council, Mental Health Commission, National Cancer Registry Ireland, National Paediatric Hospital Development Board, National Treatment Purchase Fund, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council, Safefood and the Voluntary Health Insurance Board.

Of these, the Department of Health provide funding to the following on an annual basis:

Dental Council, Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Health Service Executive (HSE), Health and Social Care Professionals Council (CORU), Health Information and Quality Authority, Health Products Regulatory Authority, Health Research Board, Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Mental Health Commission, National Cancer Registry of Ireland, National Treatment Purchase Fund, Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council, Safefood.

The third part of the question has been referred to the HSE for their input and they will respond to you directly.
