I propose to take Questions Nos. 368, 369 and 370 together.
The objective of MedLIS is to establish a single national laboratory information system based on the principle of single laboratory record for each individual patient for tests carried out in any HSE laboratory. The system will be paperless and is designed to serve patients and the clinicians who provide care. Beaumont Hospital is the first site in which the new system has gone live and it has been supporting the service of five of six laboratory disciplines since August 2024.
Supplier contracts, deployments and system functionality are service matters and I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy.
