My Department uses recently released, supplier supported versions of the named software programmes. For operational and security reasons, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) advises that public bodies do not disclose details of ICT systems, including software versions, as there is a risk that such disclosures could in turn compromise cyber security measures in place in those bodies.

My Department uses the named software programme for a very small number of residual and minor legacy systems. For operational and security reasons, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) advises that public bodies do not disclose details of ICT systems, such as software versions, as there is a risk that such disclosures could in turn compromise cyber security measures in place in those bodies.
