Programme for Government 2025 commits to providing a career pathway for healthcare assistants. Work is ongoing in the Health Service Executive and the career pathway for Health Care Assistants can be accessed via the below link. It outlines both vertical and horizontal pathways including information pertaining to Nurse Sponsorship for health care support staff.
