950. To ask the Minister for Rural and Community Development the cumulative funding provided in each local authority since 2020 to date in 2025 under the Community Centres Investment Fund; and the total number of community centres funded in each county, in tabular form. [25984/25]

The Community Centre Investment Fund (CCIF) has provided in excess of €109 million since 2022 for the enhancement and refurbishment of existing community centres and the construction of new centres.

Over €45.8 million was approved for some 861 community centres nationwide under CCIF 2022. In early 2024, funding of over €30 million was approved for the construction of 12 new community centres covering nine counties of which 9 have local authorities as the lead applicant.

Under the 2024 iteration of the fund over €33 million has now been approved to support refurbishment works on over 770 projects nationwide.

The funding is awarded directly by my Department and is not managed through the local authorities. Details have therefore been provided in respect of the funding provided in each county since 2020 to date in 2025 under the Community Centres Investment Fund in the table at the link below.
