To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the number of Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection who were in receipt of a social welfare payment in 2022, 2023, 2024 and who are currently in receipt of a social welfare payment by payment type, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Central Statistics Office publishes detailed data on 'Arrivals from Ukraine in Ireland' (www.cso.ie/en/statistics/population/arrivalsfromukraineinireland/) using administrative data from a number of Departments including the Department of Social Protection.
Data from selected weeks is shown in the below table. Note that an individual can have more than one active claim, and hence the number of all beneficiaries, including the number of children for which child benefit is in payment, is also shown.
