517. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the capital and current funding provided to the Irish Arts Centre in New York in 2024 and to date in 2025, in tabular form. [25363/25]

My Department through Culture Ireland provides annual programme funding to the Irish Arts Centre (IAC) in New York for the presentation and promotion of a wide range of contemporary Irish culture in all its aspects including film, visual arts, theatre, literature, music in the USA. The IAC is a key strategic flagship for the presentation of Irish culture in the USA and this funding is drawn down over a number payments each year.

My Department has also provided capital funding of €1.5m in 2024 towards the cost of the redevelopment of the Irish Arts Center, given its importance as a platform for showcasing Irish artists to the US market.
