The school referred to by the Deputy was approved to enter the Department’s pipeline of school buildings projects to provide 3 Mainstream Classrooms, 3 Resource Rooms, 1 Home School Liaison Room and a 2 Classroom SEN Base.

This project received my Departments approval to go to construction in November 2024 and it was recently confirmed by the school that the project is on site.

My department will continue to engage with the school authority to provide practical advice and assistance on this much needed project.
