My Department established An Rialálaí Agraibhia (the Agri-Food Regulator) on the 13 December 2023 under the Agricultural and Food Supply Chain Act 2023.
An Rialálaí Agraibhia promotes fairness and transparency in the agri-food supply chain. The agency’s statutory remit and focus is on business to business relationships within the supply chain ensuring the compliance with, and enforcement of unfair trading laws.
Funding for An Rialálaí Agraibhia in 2023/24 was €1,484,428.53. The allocated budget for 2025 is €1,960,000.00
