220. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if she will outline the number of agencies or quangos established by her Department in each of the past ten years and the cost to the State of funding each one. [24930/25]

The Educational Research Centre (ERC) was established on a statutory basis in September 2015. This is the only aegis body established by my Department in the last 10 years.
Voted funding to this aegis body in the last 10 years amounts to €32,266,837.53.
In 2023, the following 4 support services: Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST); Junior Cycle for Teachers (JCT); Centre for School Leadership (CSL); and the National Induction Programme for Teachers (NIPT) were amalgamated into an overall service called Oide. This was launched in September 2023 and the cost to the Exchequer to date is €25,513,227.22.
