To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality to provide an update on his Department’s consultations on the recommendation of the review group on the Offences Against the State Act 1939; when he will bring forward legislation based on the recommendations of that review; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has substantially completed consultations and analysis on the recommendations of the Review Group and I expect to be able to propose a substantive response to those recommendations for consideration by Government in the coming months.
