195. To ask the Minister for Health to outline the progress made in the recruitment of an ophthalmologist in south Tipperary following a retirement (details supplied); the number of children who are now waiting to be seen in the eye clinic; the supports available for parents with children who require an appointment with the eye clinic but have been forced to be seen privately due to the lack of an ophthalmologist in south Tipperary; if parents can seek a reimbursement of appointment costs and the cost of glasses due to being forced to go privately; if not, if the State will take full responsibility for this; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
