I propose to take Questions Nos. 294 and 296 together.
My Department funds a range of the SEAI supports to make it easier and more affordable for homeowners to undertake home energy upgrades, for warmer, healthier and more comfortable homes, with lower energy bills and emissions.
The specific data sought by the Deputy in relation to heat pump installations and homes retrofitted to B2 or above through the SEAI residential and community energy efficiency upgrade schemes for the years in question is set out in the table below. In addition, funding is provided by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage for the retrofit of social housing under the Local Authority Energy Efficiency Retrofit Programme.
Number of heat pumps installed and homes retrofitted to a BER B2 standard or higher 2021-2025 (YTD)
