The State Claims Agency (SCA) has a statutory remit to manage personal injury claims on behalf of State Authorities. The SCA has provided me with the information set out below.

The SCA provides indemnification in respect of certain private clinics (such as the clinic details supplied by the Deputy) that provide professional medical services on behalf of public hospitals.

Claims associated with these clinics are covered by the Clinical Indemnity Scheme by way of the indemnification provided to the relevant hospital.

The SCA has not paid any legal costs or compensation on behalf of these clinics.
