I refer to your Parliamentary Questions Nos. 565, 566, 567, 568, 569, and 570 of 25 March 2025, requesting, in tabular form, the number of rapes and sexual assaults that were recorded where the suspected offenders were on bail in each of the past three years; the number of violent assaults that were recorded where the suspected offenders were on bail in each of the past three years; the number of cases of murder, attempted murder and manslaughter that were recorded where the suspected offenders were on bail in each of the past three years; the number of cases of failing to remain at the scene of an accident that were recorded where the suspected offenders were on bail in each of the past three years; the number of cases of armed robberies that were recorded where the suspected offenders were on bail in each of the past three years; and the number of cases of offences under section 9 possession of knives and other articles of the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act 1990, that were recorded where the suspected offenders were on bail in each of the past three years; and if I would make a statement on the matter.

You will recall that at the time the question was asked, I contacted An Garda Síochána to request information relevant to the question posed and, as it was not available in the time permitted, I undertook to contact you when the information was received.

The following table has been provided by An Garda Síochána which contains the information requested, with the exception of that for question 568, for which there is no incident type available in PULSE.
