I propose to take Questions Nos. 270 and 271 together.

Ten public bodies under the aegis of my Department are required to submit quarterly prompt payment reports in accordance with Government Decision S29296 of 19 May 2009, 2 and 8 March 2011, and 28 March 2017. The bodies in question are listed below:

  • An Bord Pleanála
  • Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority
  • Heritage Council
  • Housing and Sustainable Communities Agency
  • Housing Finance Agency
  • Local Government Management Agency
  • Office of the Planning Regulator
  • Residential Tenancies Board
  • Tailte Éireann *
  • Waterways Ireland
* Tailte Éireann was established in 2023 through the merger of Ordnance Survey Ireland, Property Registration Authority and Valuation Office. In 2022 the latter three bodies made individual reports.

All of the above bodies made returns in the 2022 - 2025 period as referenced, and they are available at the following weblink:

www.gov.ie/en/search/?q=Prompt+Payment+Returns&organisation=Department+of+Housing%2C+Local+Government+and+Heritage

My Department regularly reminds bodies of their obligations regarding the 15-day prompt payment commitment, including as part of the annual procedures for verifying compliance with the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies.
