To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht for the dates and attendance list of all meetings his Department officials, advisers or any combination of representatives has had with RTE in 2025, distinguishing physical and virtual meetings, by date and attendees, in tabular form. Since I was appointed Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media on 23 January 2025, I met with the Chairperson and the Director General of RTÉ jointly on 29 January 2025. My advisers, Michael O'Connor and Theresa Newman and my Secretary General also attended. I also separately met with the Director General of RTÉ on 8 April 2025 and the Chairperson on 15 April 2025. My advisers, the Secretary General and two Departmental officials also attended both meetings.
My Department engages on an ongoing basis with all bodies under its aegis, including RTÉ, as well as with other stakeholders. The table below details meetings that have taken place at an official level with RTÉ since the beginning of the year, and distinguishes between physical and virtual meetings.
