The correspondence referred to are applications to the Supplementary Panel.

The Supplementary Panels are used to fill permanent teaching vacancies, once all surplus permanent teachers have been redeployed from the Main Redeployment Panel.

The closing date for Supplementary Panel applications is December each year. Teachers who applied to the 2024/25 Supplementary Panel in December 2023, including the teacher referred to by the Deputy, were notified of the outcome of their application in April 2024.

The closing date for the 2025/26 Supplementary Panel was 20 December 2024. My Department received an application from the teacher referred to by the Deputy and she, along with all other applicants, were notified of the outcome of their applications last week.
