My Department is working with the Office of Parliamentary Counsel on the preparation of Delegation of Functions Orders for both Ministers of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

The approval and commencement of these Orders must follow in sequence, with the Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions Order coming first, followed by the Alteration of Title and Name of Department Order. The Delegation of Functions Orders will be finalised subsequent to these. Progress on all Orders is at an advanced stage.
