To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if he is aware if any of the contractors or subcontractors engaged in resolving the failures in the Companies Registration Office IT system have previously been involved in other public sector ICT projects in Ireland where significant project delays, failures, or cost overruns occurred; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have no direct knowledge of the contractors or subcontractors engaged by the CRO to work on the CRO IT system. I have been informed that the CRO is not aware of any significant project delays, failures or cost overruns involving such contractors or subcontractors that have arisen in other public sector ICT projects in Ireland.
