I have not yet spoken with Secretary of State for Health and Social Care in the UK, Wes Streeting, since my appointment. However, I look forward to engaging with him and hope to do so at the earliest opportunity.

In the meantime, officials from my Department will continue close and productive cooperation with their counterparts in the Department of Health and Social Care in the UK.
