2638. To ask the Minister for Rural and Community Development the community centres based in County Cork that received capital funding under the community centre investment fund in 2024 and to date in 2025, in tabular form. [21033/25]

The Community Centre Investment Fund (CCIF) has provided in excess of €109 million since 2022 for the enhancement and refurbishment of existing community centres and the construction of new centres.

In early 2024, funding of €30 million was approved for the construction of 12 new community centres covering nine counties. County Cork had one successful project under this fund. IRD Duhallow was approved over €1.5 million under this fund for the construction of a new facility in Rylane.

In June 2024, a new round of funding was announced to support community groups to upgrade and refurbish community facilities in their areas providing funding of between €10,000 and €100,000 towards capital costs for refurbishment of existing community centres.

Under the 2024 fund over €33 million has now been approved to support refurbishment works on over 770 projects nationwide. This figure includes over €4 million to support some 92 centres in County Cork.

Details of all successful applications under CCIF based in County Cork in 2024 and to date in 2025 are in the table attached.
