2568. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills to provide a list of all EU directives which are awaiting transposition in his Department; the date on which transposition is due; and the reasons for any delay in transposition, in tabular form. [20329/25]

My Department is working on two statutory instruments that will give effect to amendments to Directive 2005/36/EC. The details and current status are outlined in the table below.

| Directive (EU) 2024/505 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 February 2024 amending Directive 2005/36/EC as regards the recognition of professional qualifications of nurses responsible for general care trained in Romania | 4th March 2025 | The regulations to transpose this Directive have been drafted and approved by the Minister, with formatting and translation into Irish now complete. The regulations will shortly be formally printed for the Minister’s final signature and adoption. Transposition will then be complete. |
